As a chronic cold weather crybaby, this January has been rough on both my mind and my delicate, dainty digits. When the mercury reads some nonsense number under 30 degrees, I'll be the first to admit that I'm probably not the most pleasant dude to turn pedals with, as my conversational skills devolve to the point where I'm capable of little more than whimpering complaints about frostbite and nerve damage. I am not like Jeff during these winter months; I am not tough. I've grown to accept it.
With that in mind, I'd like to offer a heartfelt thanks to my rollers and my track bike, for entertaining me indoors, sparing my hands and feet from the horrors of mild discomfort, and sheltering my friends from an onslaught of whinging.
Thank you, and I love you.
PS: Campy parts are arriving... Bike build blog post with details, weights, and crappy phone pics soon!
PPS: KENDRICK LAMAR IS EVERYWHERE! He's battin' a thousand for being in my favorite videos these days. Fast a cappella with The Game? Sporting a weird leather t-shirt with A$AP, Drake, and 2 Chainz? Getting hell of deep over clips from Menace II Society? Check, check, and check. Add this dude along with my track bike and my rollers to the list of things I love. (None of these videos are safe for work, which means they rule)
