Ordering your Custom Speedvagen
When you're ready to rock, a non-refundable $1000 deposit is all that is required to officially start the order process. The deposit adds your name to the build queue and gets the conversation started.
By now you know we design, fabricate, paint, assemble, pack and ship every Speedvagen, start to finish, in-house. That makes for a lot of collective experience under one roof. Please ask us anything throughout the process and we'll be happy to answer.
This is one of the best days of your life, right?! Well we're going to keep it that way by responding promptly to your emails or phone calls, we'll keep each step totally transparent and ultimately deliver you a great bicycle. Ready?!
Once you place your deposit, we'll settle on sizing. If you're going custom, we will either schedule a fitting session with Sacha here at our shop, or if you are happy with the fit of your current bike, we'll get those measurements and use those as a starting point.
If you're going with a stock size, you can choose that from the geometry sheet below. If you need help figuring our what stock size would be best, just fill out our Current Bike Fit (link) form, send it in via email and we'll make a sizing recommendation.
Your final confirmation of the frame design, build kit and paint scheme is the last step before we add your bike to the build schedule, then we get to work. You should be riding your Speedvagen in about 12 weeks!
Next we'll design your Speedvagen from the ground up. We start by using the measurements from your fit session or your selected stock size to design a frame that's going to look right and give a beautifully balanced ride underneath you.
Then we get into the fun stuff: adding optional features like electronic integration or carbon seat tubes to your dream bike. Then the only thing left to do is pick a paint scheme and colors. There are four schemes to choose from each year including Surprise Me.
Since we do everything in-house we have hands on your bike through the whole process and we nail each step. We will update you with photos along the way and let you know when your SV is ready to ride!
